Part of our vision at King’s Community Church is the ‘expansive’ value. This involves reproducing ourselves through church planting, locally and abroad. Thus, our aim is to reach our community, nation and the world. The “Kairos Course” is being introduced at King’s to help us on our journey in becoming such an ‘expansive’ church.

With Paster Paul Wagstaff finishing his time at King’s, he preached on “Making a Stand” recently. Quoting a key passage from Ezekiel 22:30, "I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap so I wouldn't have to destroy it, but not one could be found," he reiterated the point that Christians really need to learn to put God first and make a stand for Him too.

Are you the main shopper in your family?  I am in mine, unfortunately, because it's not my favourite pastime, and I usually try to get round Sainsbury's or Asda as quickly as possible trying to purchase only what Sandy and I actually need.  Sometimes, however I do have to stop and wonder at the incredible range of items on display.  Where does it all come from, this food, fruit and veg, coffee tea and chocolate etc? Who grows it, who decides the price, how does it get here?  Does it matter anyway?
