Families come in various configurations all with their own unique qualities, joys and challenges. At Bedworth Family Support Centre our aims are to help support, encourage and provide assistance for families regardless of their beliefs, race, colour, abilities or gender.
We believe a good stable family unit now; will enhance not only future generations, but also the community where they live.
We provide care to families in Bedworth and the surrounding areas through a number of different services, activities and courses.
Child Contact Centre Bedworth Child Contact Centre is a safe, friendly neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents and sometimes other family members. It is a child -centered environment that puts the needs of the child first. Family Support Worker We offer individual care to families under stress in the Bedworth area through our Family Support Worker. Referrals for this service can be made by Social Services, Health Visitors, Schools, Friend and by Self Referral. Play & Stay Weekly Groups Carers & Toddlers Tuesday 9:30 – 11:15 am Friday 9:30 – 11:15am Coffee Time for Parents Wednesday 10:00 – 11:30 Breast Feeding Café Wednesday 11:00 – 12:30pm Create ‘Create' is an out of schools project ran by Jenette and David Jones that aims to enable young people to discover their identity through dance, drama and media. The project is an outreach of Kings Community Church and Spurgeons Child Care and is funded by the Big Lottery. It currently works with 3 local secondary schools, Ash Green School and Arts College, Etone Community School and Technology College and Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College creating strong links with young people in the community. Through creative writing, drama, multi media, choreography and productions ‘Create' encourages the moral exploration of issues that are hot for young people. Create tutors include; David and Jenette Jones, Andy Kennedy, A.K. Jesudason, Emily Sidwell, Liesl Hill, and Hayley Skirrow . Courses Various courses are planned throughout the year. From Parenting & Marriage courses that will give your family vital tools to enhance the quality of your time together. To practical courses that will help you with financial management and your computer skills.
